Hello Friend,
Thank you for taking the time to come this far. We are Deadlight Holiday, an eclectic progressive/Shoegaze/Rock band based out of Grand Rapids, MI. In just two short years, two EPs, and one upcoming full length album on the horizon, we have independently toured and traveled the U.S, and Canada, opening alongside national acts such as One Eyed Doll, The Misfits, The Birthday Massacre, The Genitorturers, Wednesday 13, and Edge of Paradise. DIY (Do it Yourself) is our motto, and we aim to stay true to it as much as we can. We pour what we are feeling into our music, and perform live because we enjoy seeing our fans feel something from the music we worked so tirelessly to create. In one way or another, we're all activists on different platforms, we donate our time and band funds into projects and groups we believe can make a difference with children, animals, and adults alike. Being in a band gives us the advantage to reach out to a larger audience, and make a larger impact across the globe.
In today's world, making it big is almost a mythological creature in itself. Our goal is have fun doing what we enjoy, and making a living off doing just that. Sounds easy too right? You make it happen, and allow us to continue forward by simply listening, sharing, and helping distribute our music. So keep making art, and always be yourself, and we'll keep doing the same.
We began on New Year's Eve of 2014, and in just a very short span of time, we have played in front of thousands of people over the years, and look forward to the future. Our fan base has grown so quickly, and we keep seeing more and more people show up with our T-shirts at our shows, and Tattoos of our Eye logo. We can't express how thankful we are for everyone who supports us.
